六月三十日。十年前的今日，是香港交還中國的前夕。我和第一任女友和一班同學到了日航酒店食自助餐和看煙花。記得放煙花的時候正下著不小的雨，朋友都走到外面看，而我卻留在餐廳繼續吃。回到家，電視便開始直播主權交接儀式。交接儀式很平淡地進行，記憶最深刻的，是鍾士元用國語諗的誓詞：「.... 謹此煦私 ...」哈哈哈。台上台下人人都一本正經的樣子，我怕大家都用了飲奶的力才能忍住笑。當然，查理斯王子不懂得笑，但他當時想著的，卻是「真受不了這幫臘像一樣面目模糊的人...」這類真性子。
十年後的今天，可能會在酒吧中的喧鬧聲中，胡胡混混地過吧。
上星期六和Judy，Patrick去鳳園影蝴蝶，Judy不只是地頭虫，而且因為常看蝴蝶書，她拍到很多種類的蝴蝶。Patrick說是因為她的身體沒有我們那麼熱，所以即使走到很近，蝴蝶也不飛走。我看到她將手機放到蝴蝶前只有15 cm的地方拍了很久。
Judy把她拍到的照片放在她的Yahoo相簿內。大家可以看看，她用SonyEricsson手機拍到的比我拍到的還漂亮。
鈕灰蝶打從 Sony 和 Ericsson 合拼它們的電話業務的第一天開始，我便在期待集電話和真正有水準的數碼相機的產品。當然，也可以期待電話和 mp3 player/收音機的結合，但mp3 player和收音機沒有相機那麼好玩。早前SonyEricsson在北京的發佈會終於發表了K850，一部從form factor到details都為拍照而設的手提電話。500萬像，dedicated的拍攝/攝錄/放映推桿，和同時支援Memory Stick M2和Micro SD card都顯示主角是相機，電話是附加的。
以手提電話來說，我個人不太喜愛SonyEricsson，這是為了它的電池不夠長氣，和電話本身不夠耐用，而且價錢比價值貴。若說數碼相機，Sony的更不入流。但有能力將兩者結合的只有SonyEricsson。相機+手機的夢幻組合當然是Nokia加Nikon或Canon，這是顯然易見的道理，究竟Nokia的人在想什麼？
要多謝這麼多人購買SonyEricsson之前那些我認為不湯不水，而且over-priced的相機手機，他們等於支持SonyEricsson做實驗。
這部K850將會在今年第四季推出，訂價肯定超過HK$4000，但其實買一部Nikon S500或Cannon SD850，加有齊基本功能的手提電話也不超過$4000，而且我也很喜歡正在用的手機，究竟值不值得用較高的價錢和較差的拍攝質素，來換取一機走天下的方便呢？其實我只會考慮手頭有沒有閒錢和看心情 .... 哈哈

太陽下山，終於可以出外走走。昨天在麥當勞買早餐，付了錢才見到可以加錢換史力加中的薑餅人（Gingy）公仔。今天便拉細佬去麥當勞吃晚餐。
原來麥當勞新出了兩種包：雙層魚柳包和至尊漢堡，還可以免費將套餐內的薯條換成栗米。至尊漢堡也就是美國的Big'n Juicy，是我經常買的一種，價錢當然比美國便宜多了（套餐：HK$24 vs US$5.25）。它和普遍漢堡不同的是多了兩片番茄，幾片生菜，不同的醬汁和較多肉汁的burger。我和細佬都叫了至尊漢堡餐，我愛吃栗米，但只吃栗米粒，當然將薯條換成栗米了，還附送牛油一片呢。
至於雙層魚柳包，只是名符其實的「多舊魚」罷了。

Sunday. Nothing to do and being lazy at home. It is damn hot here. 35 degC. Mom and Dad have gone for a day trip in China, and my brother, like me, has nothing to do for the day.
I have not had that much sleep for a while. I went to bed at 10:20 last night, and only got up at 11:30 this morning. It was already freaking hot out there and my brother and I decided to lay low and order delivery for lunch, only to avoid the steaming heat.
Now Broadband TV was showing Back to the Future Part III. The Back to the Future series is some of my favorite movies. They are a very good teaching material for making commercial movies. The story is about the adventure of the 17-years-old Marty McFly and Dr. Elma Brown on the Time Machine (built from a De Lorean DMC-12 racing car) Doc Brown built. The whole story happens in a small fictional town Hill Valley of California in 4 time frames: the present (1985 the year the first Back to the Future was made), the future (2015, when Jennifer, Marty's girlfriend, meets herself and her kids with Marty), a near past (1955, whcn Marty meets his parents and has her mom falling for him instead of his father) and a further past (1885, when Doc finds his love of his life in this wild west). The Clock Tower which was the iconic building of Hill Valley plays a very important role in all 3 movies.
Technically, the movies are so well written and directed that you can't take a breath from the tense but entertaining cuts. The scenes are so closely related that a tiny thing happens in the background turns out to be an important clue for the development of the movie. One example is in Part II, Biff is watching a cowboy movie in his Jacuzzi. It is a classic gun duet for those cowboy movies. One of the cowboys got shot, but he doesn't fall and reveals a metal plate under his shirt that protects him from the bullet. In Part III, Marty is provoked to have a gun duet with Mad Dog Tannen (the long time nemesis of Marty's family). It was anything but a fair game, because Tannen is a well trained gunman of the time, and Marty only learns shooting from the game consoles in 7-11. So Marty gets shot at his heart, but surprisingly he doesn't die because he has put a metal plate under his shirt.
In a sense the franchise is sort of romantic. You will be attached to Hill Vally from the recurrence of the Clock Tower and the cafe (1959-2019)/tavern (1889) that sits across the Clock Tower. You can even witness the birth of the Clock Tower in Part III. I didn't like Part III that much than the other two movies before, but today as I watched it again (probably the 5th time), I felt the sentiment of the writer/director's for their heritage of explorers of the west, from the scene where De Lorean was pulled by 4 horses on a wasteland in the west to the photo Marty and Doc take in the inauguration party of the clock for the Clock Tower. In fact, the whole story is a child's dream realized on the screen: a time machine that bring you back in time to peer how your parents meet each other, or to the future to check out if you will marry your first love. The best part is, you travel in time on a De Lorean, and you need to get it real fast (88 miles per hour or 140 km/hr) to get the Time Influx circuit work! In the last scene of Part III, you see the ultimate childhood dream of the writers comes true: traveling in time on a steam train!
To all film makers, a good and entertaining movie doesn't take a lot but a theme that connects to the dream of your childhood. You are not alone in the world, and those who share your dream will love your movies, given it is technically sound, or terrific preferably. So dare to dream and don't toss them away.
The trilogy was written by Bob Gale and Robert Zemeckis and directed by Robert Zemeckis, who has also directed Forrest Gump and Cast Away among others.

Evolution of the Time Machine
De Lorean DMC-12, 1981-83
The Time Machine as appeared in Back to the Future. It needs plutonium to power the Time Influx circuit. The plutonium almost costs Doc his life.
De Lorean as in Back to the Future Part II. It is modified by Doc with the technologies in 2015, turning it into a flying pod (every car flies in the sky in 2015). Doc has also installed Mr. Fusion that utilizes nuclear fusion of atoms in garbage to power the Time Influx circuit.
De Lorean as appeared in Part III. It has been repaired by Doc using whatever materials he can find in 1955: some vacuum tubes piled up on the hood with wooden boards, and the classic 50's wheels and tires.
The Time Machine as appeared in the last scene of Part III. It is built by Doc from a steam train in 1889, and modified using fancy technologies some time in the future.

一 九 七 四 年 八 月 九 日 ， 美 國 總 統 尼 克 遜 辭 職 。 辭 職 信 是 寫 給 國 務 卿 基 辛 格 的 ， 只 有 一 句 話 ： 「 本 人 謹 辭 去 美 國 總 統 之 職 。 」 （ I hereby resign the office of the President of the United States. ）
權 位 越 高 ， 辭 職 信 越 簡 潔 。 被 迫 辭 職 的 人 ， 心 中 難 免 都 有 氣 ， 但 寫 辭 職 信 並 不 必 公 開 感 受 ， 更 不 必 把 一 封 辭 職 信 寫 成 一 篇 《 出 師 表 》 。

今天一大早跟Patrick和Judy到了大埔的鳳園蝴蝶保育園。這原本是一些農場，後來被有心人保留，並種植了一些個別品種的蝴蝶喜愛的花和樹，吸引了很多蝴蝶，之後是影友進來。
我們到達已經是十點鐘，蝴蝶要開始休息。Judy來過幾次，比較熟悉蝴蝶的習性和品種，她說其實黃昏時候最多蝴蝶出來覓食，但也同時最多蚊子。
所以我們拍到的蝴蝶品種不多，加上我的鏡頭的焦距不夠長，也不是Macro，所以拍出來的蝴蝶不太漂亮。希望Patrick拍到些好的。

p.s. 今天超級熱，拍照時又沒有風，所以我不但全身濕透，用來擦汗的手巾也濕透了。幸好我多帶了一件衣服替換，但幾年沒有發作的鼻敏感終於撐不住滿園的花粉，我在鳳園裡不停打噴嚏。

今日報紙報導，昨日當局在彿山九江大橋倒塌事故下游的西江流域打撈出7具屍體，查明後證實其中3名死者並不是這次事故中的失蹤者。
解讀：似乎在中國任何一個城市附近的任何一個河岸，只要認真地找找都可以找到幾具死人屍體。
Last week I went to Mongkok to have dinner with a few undergraduate classmates. I was early and walked into a bookshop. Note: Bookshop is rare in MK. I stumbled onto a book called My Name is Red, written by the 2006 winner of Nobel Prize in Literature Orhan Pamuk. I flipped a few pages and found it quite interesting. The story is set in Istanbul of the Ottoman period, and have a very vivid and colorful depiction of the city and lives of the people. The author himself is a native of modern Istanbul. The original is written in Turkish, and I was reading the English translation, of course. After I got home, I looked up amazon.com for readers' reviews. The book is described as offering a great insight into the Islamic philosophy and Arts.
I didn't have a Hongkong Bank credit card with which I could get a 30% discount for the book. (Well.. if I were in the US, I would buy a used one from amazon.com for a much cheaper price.) A friend of mine who attended the dinner had it, but the bookshop was closed when we finished our meal. My friend was so nice that he bought one for me on the other day and gave it to me yesterday.
I started the book this morning on my way to work, and a line on the first page impressed me a lot. It is a mutter from the spirit of a dead man, who turns out to be the main character, about his enlightenment in the world of death, "Before my birth there was infinite time, and after my death, inexhaustible time. I never thought of it before: I'd been living luminously between two eternities of darkness."
Right. We should be grateful for being alive and exposed to infinite possibilities.
So far the book is easy to follow and addictive for a Nobel winner's work. And it is a murder mystery too. Still, I need to focus to take in the details. I planned to read Harry Potter - the Order of the Phoenix again before the movie is on. But now it has to give way to the Red.
p.s. On the train I noticed a young man reading the same book but an older edition. He turned out to be waiting for the school bus with me in CU, and we were reading the same book next to each other. He was getting close to the end though.
屈指一算，自從92年入讀中大之後，這15年間竟和和她有了幾番離離合合。
以前一直沒有認真想過Shaw人的特征，昨天和一個學生談起我以前諗Shaw College，這次我卻很自然地說Shaw人是自由知識份子。很大可能是地理位置較偏僻的關係，平常要轉校巴才入到Shaw College，假日的校巴班次更加疏落，所以除了住宿的學生以外，即使是Shaw的學生也很少入Shaw，更不可能像其他書院一樣有其他書院的學生經常出沒。所以Shaw人也是比「摺」，因為回了宿便不想出來。學生也很晚才回宿，所以大家自顧自的，沒有很強的書院意識。就是這客觀因素，做就成一批「自由知識份子」。
當初也沒有認真了解幾個書院的背景和文化，便選了Shaw。那時候比較理想主義，不想入有宗教背景的書院，沒選崇基。我對中國文化很有興趣，想入新亞書院，但生化系學生不能入新亞。Shaw和聯合選其一，覺得Shaw好像較獨立不羈，和我的性格相像，便選了Shaw。到了三年級才發覺崇基和聯合都有較多獎學金，唉... 堅持理想是有代價的。但回想起這也是不錯的選擇，至少我可以跟人說我打從大學開始便是一個「自由知識份子」。
的確，我也很慶幸畢業時沒有考上政府工。現在看著政府的「政治宣傳片」（Propaganda），如「回歸十周年」MV，如果是上司要我做，我會想死。
日本科幻小說《銀河英雄傳說》裡有一個角色，是幾代相傳的太空運輸船船主，獨立於幾個政權之外，間中也接一點走私生意。這人正是為了幾代祖先一直堅持不附和任何一個政權或政治組織而自豪。當然，這角色最後被一個新興起的強大政權利用，自認慚對了祖先。
當年我沒有住過宿，但也有時入Shaw到同學的宿舍玩。玩什麼？一班男生還可以玩什麼？不外乎打機，睇波，睇「呵呵帶」（「呵」音「河」）。請注意，是「呵呵帶」，不是「呵呵碟」。我們那年代還有VHS帶。昨天那學生聽到這個term立時大笑，「呵呵帶」遠比「鼓油碟」繪形繪聲，更vintage吧？哈哈... 其實我入Shaw多數是打壁球的（一星期兩次），那時U Gym的壁球場還沒有建好。

這是今天下班從後樓梯下來看到的風景。7:15 pm，是這個季節的Magic Hour。就在新亞紫霞樓（學生宿舍）旁邊剛好擱著一片紫霞。因為是用手機拍的關係，照片拍不出那一剎那雲的紫色。現在你們看到的紫色我記憶中的顏色，用Photoshop把它重現出來。

3:32 am. I finally managed to stop myself from downloading those papercraft templates from the web. Things that I have downloaded includes Gundam, Star Wars, Macross, some cute characters, cars, trains, ships, the time machines of Back to the Future (yes, the TWO time machines - Delorean and the Train!!), and even Nike Air Force I sneakers. I stopped only because I had opened over 12 tabs in one Firefox window and the last one tried to start a Flash movie, which crashed the Firefox.

讀今天陶傑為蘋果日報寫的《星期天休息》，從太湖的污染聯想到南宋的一首詞，到一位英國詩人為湖區寫的一首詩，再到許冠傑的一首歌的詞。我很認同他說「流行曲的歌詞，許多人覺得難與文學經典相比，但三首作品，三般菜餚，像鰣魚、牛排，還有奶油多，其實各有各的可口，一樣逗人喜歡。」
在香港，朋友經常尋找好吃的餐廳。我自己也經歷過這階段。可能已經試過很多，加上沒有了伴，這次回香港已沒有以前那麼熱衷四處覓食了。況且近年香港有很多濫竽充數的食肆，一旦到了這些食肆，吃進口裡，還覺得在花錢支持這些次貨。我現在更愛和幾個好友在舒適的環境下喝喝酒、談談天（畢竟有名有姓的酒的質素還是有保證）。在美國的經歷也幫了一把吧。香港畢竟太繁忙，如果自己不自覺要停下來思考的話，很容易隨波逐流，不知道自己的本質和想要的生活。

I went to an Austrian restaurant in TST last night for dinner.
It is a very tiny restaurant: only 5 tables that can take probably 16 people at a time, but a nice bar and feels cosy. There were 3 big white people sitting at the bar, eating, drink, and chattering when we arrived. We sat by the window, and ordered a sausage platter, goulash, and pork knuckles. The knuckles took 50 minutes to make, which was good so that we could take our time for chatter and the soup and the sausages. I had two glasses of weißbier, which I missed a lot.
The restaurant is called Weinstube and is located inside a building in Ashley Road. The food is good in general, and the cosy and quiet setting is very good for small groups. It is taken care of by a man and a woman and I hope it can stay long enough. It was not very busy yesterday (Saturday night).
There are two more German restaurants in TST: one biergarten and the other a restaurant proper. I should get more people to try the biergarten next time.
I was eating instant noodles on my own for lunch today. I turned on the TV, nothing worthed watching on the Chinese channels, and I switched to the Pearl. Well.. it was a replaying a documentary interviewing a few Hong Kong families who had immigrated into Canada. Some of them decided to stay there for a more relaxed and family-oriented life, some had already did, but the parents got frustrated for their children who acted and thought like Canadians and loathed to talk to them. Some of them decided to return to Hong Kong after spending over 10 years there.
One of the families had moved to Beijing 2 years ago. The father says he planned to send his children back to Canada for college. He wants to expose his children to a broad spectrum of cultures and let them decide where to develop their career and find their own homes.
Yes, moving around the globe is not as simple as it seems. Career, of course. But parents, children, the spouse always weigh in, even you think you don't need to take them seriously.
The program is called The Pearl Report, and this episode is one of six for a review of 10 years of rule under the Chinese sovereign (note: not a "celebration for return for 10 years", you got to be neutral for news program). I didn't expect the English channels in Hong Kong would produce documentary of such a high quality. The audience of those English channels are small here after all. I try to look up more about The Pearl Report on TVB's webpage, but amazingly I can't find even a description of it. The English News team deserves more respect.
陶傑今天在蘋果日報的專欄，小弟非常同意。今天香港的「新聞報導」實在太沒水準，「訪問」中只提出「你阿媽是女人嗎？」或同義的，或比周星馳更無厘頭的問題；「報導」一些「原來我阿媽都是女人」等事情；專門小題大造，但從不深入探討背後的原因；所謂「專家意見」只能令人同聲一笑。各位觀眾，可否提高你們的要求，用市場力量提升傳謀和普遍市民的質素？沒有要求和品味的社會只會沈淪。但見「溏心風暴」錄得接近百分之五十的收視率，這要求未免有點苛刻。
大餡餅
掉 下 一 輛 纜 車 ， 像 從 天 上 掉 下 一 塊 大 餡 餅 ， 忽 然 餵 養 了 許 多 人 。
電 子 傳 媒 記 者 ， 紛 紛 直 播 ： 「 而 家 我 地 既 攝 影 隊 到 左 現 場 ， 見 到 跌 落 來 既 車 廂 ， 已 經 吊 番 起 ， 一 邊 玻 璃 爛 晒 ， 吊 臂 同 埋 支 架 ， 亦 都 塌 埋 ， 不 過 不 幸 中 之 大 幸 就 係 事 發 在 夜 晚 ， 現 場 亦 都 係 好 平 靜 既 ─ ─ 」
現 場 ， 不 同 戰 場 。 戰 場 上 ， 爆 了 一 顆 炸 彈 ， 有 遍 地 廢 墟 和 殘 骸 。 昂 坪 的 現 場 ， 除 了 一 節 空 空 的 車 廂 ， 只 有 草 地 和 天 空 。 既 然 現 場 那 麼 「 平 靜 」 ， 有 什 麼 好 「 實 地 直 播 」 ？
死 了 人 ， 才 有 新 聞 。 黑 夜 墜 下 一 節 車 廂 ， 沒 死 人 不 是 什 麼 天 大 的 新 聞 。 「 好 在 車 上 沒 有 人 ， 如 果 在 繁 忙 時 段 ， 後 果 不 堪 設 想 」 ─ ─ 不 堪 設 想 ？ 設 想 ， 不 是 事 實 ， 等 到 死 十 多 人 時 再 大 做 新 聞 好 了 。 從 前 啟 德 機 場 ， 九 龍 城 天 台 居 民 的 頭 皮 ， 天 天 擦 過 珍 寶 機 升 降 的 鐵 肚 皮 ， 萬 一 有 飛 機 墜 下 來 ， 也 不 堪 設 想 ， 為 什 麼 那 時 飛 機 天 天 升 降 ， 電 視 不 直 播 ？
然 後 是 電 台 名 嘴 。 挨 個 追 問 「 政 府 有 關 部 門 」 ， 運 輸 署 、 地 鐵 、 機 電 工 程 署 防 守 ， 支 支 吾 吾 ， 時 事 評 論 人 、 大 學 機 械 工 程 師 和 政 黨 議 員 圍 攻 ， 吱 吱 喳 喳 ： 「 作 為 一 個 工 程 師 ， 你 覺 得 個 工 程 機 制 有 冇 問 題 呢 ？ 」 「 作 為 機 電 工 程 署 的 問 責 高 官 ， 你 認 為 係 地 鐵 高 層 的 責 任 ， 定 係 政 府 都 監 管 不 力 呢 ？ 」
山 下 寺 庵 的 尼 姑 ， 也 亮 相 了 。 在 熒 幕 上 全 身 袈 裟 ， 法 號 廣 慈 。 記 者 ： 「 作 為 一 個 出 家 人 ， 你 以 後 係 寺 裡 面 唸 經 、 修 行 ， 有 冇 安 全 感 呢 ？ 會 唔 會 想 還 俗 ， 做 番 一 個 正 常 人 ， 返 市 區 同 屋 企 人 一 齊 居 住 呢 ？ 」 廣 慈 合 什 ， 露 出 手 腕 一 隻 勞 力 士 ： 「 阿 媽 都 有 打 電 話 來 問 候 架 。 」
然 後 是 昂 坪 市 集 的 商 戶 了 。 小 老 闆 ： 「 D 生 意 梗 係 有 影 響 喇 。 咁 你 無 限 期 停 駛 咯 ， 邊 度 有 客 入 來 呀 。 」 記 者 ： 「 咁 你 地 商 戶 會 唔 會 跟 進 ， 搵 立 法 會 幫 手 呀 。 」 小 老 闆 ： 「 緊 係 會 喇 ， 血 本 無 歸 呀 。 」
然 後 是 訪 問 市 民 ： 「 好 多 市 民 話 ， 對 吊 車 既 信 心 減 少 左 。 」 一 位 大 叔 ： 「 再 搭 ？ 」 搖 搖 頭 ： 「 咪 搞 呀 ， 貼 錢 賠 命 咩 ？ 」 另 一 位 師 奶 ， 最 初 露 牙 傻 笑 ， 企 圖 逃 避 鏡 頭 ， 終 於 站 定 ： 「 再 搭 ？ 諗 過 先 囉 。 」 記 者 ： 「 會 唔 會 好 驚 呀 。 」 師 奶 ： 「 緊 係 會 喇 。 」
報 紙 社 論 作 者 ： 「 加 強 監 管 ， 刻 不 容 緩 。 」 「 政 府 勒 令 吊 車 停 開 ， 是 一 個 明 智 的 決 定 。 」 「 立 法 會 定 要 深 入 調 查 ， 地 鐵 應 予 交 代 。 」
一 位 有 性 格 的 地 鐵 高 層 忍 不 住 還 擊 ： 「 一 味 指 責 批 評 ， 係 冇 建 設 性 既 ， 叫 o個D 批 評 的 人 坐 我 個 位 ， 睇 下 會 跌 幾 多 架 ？ 」
這 下 更 不 得 了 ： 無 良 、 涼 薄 、 傲 慢 、 過 街 老 鼠 、 千 夫 所 指 。 遠 在 北 京 ， 委 員 長 的 秘 書 報 喜 ： 「 好 了 好 了 ， 首 長 呀 ， 香 港 跌 塌 一 輛 吊 車 ， 弗 再 罵 儂 咧 。 」
昂平纜車墮下，震驚全港。上星期才和靜宜說起重沒去過，要去的話在上車前先要上廁所，和帶備食水乾糧，以備被困車廂兩小時之用。現在可省了。纜車重開無期，開了也不會坐。
我倒有興趣重行中六走過的山路，在梅窩坐巴士，在八公凹下車，翻過鳳凰山到昂平。在還未到鳳凰山頂的一個山頭向下望，大佛只有手指頭一樣大，好玩。
以前昂平只有一條村、寶蓮寺和一個露營區，我們在那裡露營，還在清晨走上鳳凰山看日出。現在再去，花兩三小時坐船和坐車，再走五小時山路（很難行，有一段路要四腳並用的爬上去），到達昂平還可以食晚飯，然後坐車回東涌。但現在太熱，要等天氣轉涼才可以去了。

I was at the checkout of a Kmart. The clerk rang up $46.64 charge. I gave her a fifty dollar bill. She gave me back $46.64.
I gave it back to her and told her that she had made a mistake in MY favor and gave her the money back. She became indignant and informed me she was educated and knew what she was doing and returned the money again. I gave her the money back again... Same scenario! I departed the store with the $46.64.
This happened in Austin at MoPac Blvd and Parmer Lane.

I walked into a Mickey D's with a buy-one-get-one-free coupon For a sandwich. I handed it to the girl and she looked over at a little Chalkboard that said "buy one-get one free."
"They're already buy-one-get-one-free", she said, "so I guess they're both free."

平時六點開波，但暑假期間壁球場收七點，所以五點鐘就要閃，唔係o岩o岩打熱個身就要走，好冇癮。
今日約好William入黎砌，一開始一人一執一局，通常我地打五局，五局三勝。打完第五局，我輸三二，但係我覺得o岩o岩先熱完身（我比較慢熱），加埋佢個得戚樣 ... 捉佢砌多一局。果然仲有心有力，抄，三比三。佢係都要贏我，要打多局。我寸佢，「冇氣就唔好死頂喇 ...」哈哈，又比我執多局。已經打左個幾鐘，死仔仲唔認輸，話我只係贏佢一局，要打多一局，如果佢贏就四比四，打最後一局決勝負；我贏佢就認輸，請飲汽水。哈哈 ... 叫你冇氣就唔好死頂架啦，最後一局都要比我炒，五比三，死未。
同William打真係幾好玩，大家差不多level，有時要同佢鬥猜波，睇下邊個先出錯；有時要鬥快；有時又要打靚位，仲要鬥追波。不過，最好玩係佢冇我咁好氣 ... 哈哈哈。
今日淨係同William打，個半鐘幾乎冇停過。好耐冇出過咁多汗（件衫已經saturated... 濕到漏汗），再沖個靚涼，飲罐可樂，真暢快。

p.s. It took me a lot of strength to stop myself from ordering the Mega Bloks Gundam and Zaku online. The MS are not very good looking, but the figures of Amuro and Ray are definitely collectibles...

Back in Nov 2004, I went to Six Flags in Springfield, MA with a bunch of friends. Six Flags is the biggest amusement park franchise in the US. There are quite some serious roller coasters and water parks in there. It was the start of winter so the water park was closed. We went there only for the machines.
Lars is from Germany. He is very quiet but a very sincere and good friend of mine. He didn't want to get on any of those roller coasters, but he actually wanted to try, or he wouldn't be coming with us. He screamed like crazy (mind you he is a very quiet guy) on every ride, and he even played the falling seats with us twice!
Remi is from Switzerland. He is a very calm person, and he enjoys life a lot. Before he finished his stay at NEB, he went on a 3 week trip with his father into the "wild west". They even flew over the great canyon.
Sylvine is from France. She is quite a liberal and likes excitement at times. Her driving is like the stereotyped French style. Plus, she is blonde.
Kalina is from France as well, Paris in particular. She is out-going, and pretty. Remi was going after her, but she turned him down.
This is the picture we purchased at the park. It was taken automatically somewhere at the worst loop of a roller coaster called Batman. I added the blow-outs and they all said that I knew them well enough to read their mind from the picture.

6月3日，日本共同社報導總理溫家寶因工作太煩重，決定不連任總理。
總理工作哪有不煩重的道理？只是有說「在好的制度中，壞人做不到壞事；在壞的制度中，好人卻做不到好事」。可恨這年頭有熱情的人，如朱鎔基、溫家寶都只做了一屆總理便做不下去。
2007年6月4日，和一個大學同學和她的朋友一起去了維園的六四燭光晚會。原本打算一個人去，但剛好在e-maiil談起，便一起去了。
和以往一樣，我在燭光晚會中只拿著蠟燭，靜靜的坐著或站著，沒有唱歌或叫口號。畢竟我是懷著掃墓的心情來，和做自己認為對的事。難道你會在清明掃墓時叫口號嗎？
集會過了一半，聽了天安門母親之中年紀最老的李雪文的錄音和王丹的錄像之後便走了。
令人欣慰的是，到了第十八年，還有足以坐滿維園全部六個足球場的人數出席，其中有上了年紀的公公、年輕的男女、還有像坐在我後面，一直向自己的孩子講解事件經過的父母。不只是中國唯一一個大型的六四集會，維園的悼念活動是全世界最多人參與的。這是我作為一個香港人唯一一個為香港驕傲的事。幾年前我和自己說過，要珍惜這個機會，只要人在香港，我一定會在6月4日來維園。Every candlelight counts.

【 本 報 訊 】 在 六 四 事 件 中 ， 「 黃 雀 行 動 」 協 助 偷 運 逾 400 名 民 運 人 士 逃 離 內 地 往 海 外 ， 行 動 總 指 揮 陳 達 鉦 首 次 披 露 當 年 中 共 黨 政 軍 各 部 門 人 士 ， 以 至 走 私 客 均 有 參 與 行 動 ， 拯 救 行 動 範 圍 遍 佈 全 中 國 。
於 六 四 事 件 18 周 年 前 夕 ， 本 港 商 人 陳 達 鉦 上 月 27 日 到 訪 美 國 紐 約 ， 絕 少 接 受 傳 媒 訪 問 的 他 接 受 《 多 維 社 》 訪 問 時 表 示 ， 當 年 萬 料 不 到 中 共 會 開 槍 鎮 壓 89 學 運 ， 「 我 激 動 得 昏 了 過 去 ， 進 了 醫 院 ， 為 了 表 現 心 中 的 憤 怒 ， 我 把 7 歲 的 兒 子 剃 光 頭 。 」
他 表 示 ， 當 年 因 有 朋 友 叫 他 幫 忙 協 助 六 四 逃 亡 者 ， 他 一 句 「 冇 所 謂 」 便 成 為 總 指 揮 。 他 更 首 次 披 露 ， 除 本 港 影 視 名 人 岑 建 勳 ， 中 共 黨 政 軍 各 部 門 ， 以 至 走 私 客 ， 都 有 參 與 行 動 。
人 稱 「 六 哥 」 的 陳 達 鉦 憶 述 ， 當 時 利 用 俗 稱 「 大 飛 」 的 快 艇 經 華 南 沿 岸 偷 運 逃 亡 者 經 香 港 往 海 外 ， 部 份 逃 亡 者 更 需 喬 裝 打 扮 ， 避 人 耳 目 ； 行 動 足 跡 遍 佈 全 中 國 ， 「 從 華 南 到 華 中 華 北 ， 一 直 到 西 北 ， 以 至 蘭 州 。 」 其 間 曾 發 生 撞 船 意 外 ， 導 致 四 名 協 助 拯 救 的 港 人 身 亡 。
黃 雀 行 動 由 89 年 6 月 中 旬 開 始 ， 直 至 該 年 年 底 因 拯 救 王 軍 濤 及 陳 子 明 失 敗 而 終 止 。 當 時 協 助 拯 救 的 港 人 黎 沛 及 李 龍 慶 被 內 地 公 安 拘 捕 ， 陳 達 鉦 與 北 京 當 局 談 判 ， 「 我 答 應 中 國 政 府 以 後 再 也 不 做 這 樣 的 事 情 … … 自 己 的 妥 協 得 到 了 支 聯 會 和 岑 建 勳 的 理 解 和 同 意 。 」 黎 、 李 二 人 於 91 年 獲 釋 。
提 及 黃 雀 行 動 名 稱 的 由 來 ， 陳 達 鉦 說 ， 行 動 原 本 沒 名 稱 ， 91 年 岑 建 勳 接 受 英 國 廣 播 公 司 訪 問 時 靈 機 一 觸 ， 引 用 成 語 「 螳 螂 捕 蟬 ， 黃 雀 在 後 」 來 形 容 這 次 行 動 而 得 名 。
當 年 成 功 逃 往 美 國 的 中 共 已 故 總 書 記 趙 紫 陽 的 智 囊 團 成 員 嚴 家 其 ， 對 逃 亡 過 程 也 不 太 清 楚 ， 「 我 無 法 從 開 車 的 司 機 、 快 艇 駕 駛 員 那 了 解 到 甚 麼 ， 一 路 上 他 們 完 全 不 理 睬 我 們 。 」
不 過 ， 陳 達 鉦 不 肯 披 露 進 一 步 詳 情 ， 「 現 在 說 出 真 相 ， 為 時 過 早 。 」
