Love Frozen in Time
I was watching the news on TV. On Feb 6, 2007, a team of archaeologists found the skeletons of a couple who were buried in hugging pose 5000-years ago in Mantau, a northern city of Italy. The archaeologists are trying to dig the whole turf in one piece so as to preserve the pose. The skeletons will eventually went on display in a museum in Mantau after data is extracted for research.
Mantau is only 25 miles south of Verona, the city where Shakespeare set the story of Romeo and Juliet. And Romeo had been sent to Mantau for a sword fight.
Not a conventional story to tell on Valentine's day though.
